10 Services for Crypto Account Record Reconciliation
Reconciliation requires records with compatible scope. A trade export, a cash ledger and a portfolio valuation are different evidence. These resources can help obtain or organize records, but none is treated here as an independently verified balance audit.
Start with the task: Explain the gap between an expected closing cash balance and your recorded balance.
Five questions to compare
Cash-flow coverage
Include opening and closing cash over the same period. A balance screenshot without a time boundary is hard to reconcile.
Trades versus ledger records
Trade rows explain executions; ledger rows explain cash movements. Match the question to the relevant record.
Transfers
Transfers between included accounts are internal movements. Do not turn them into external deposits or profit.
Already-included costs
Determine whether P&L is gross or net of fees. Subtracting included costs again creates an artificial shortfall.
Recorded balance comparisons
Compare recorded minus expected in one currency. Investigate the gap rather than automatically assigning it to trading performance.
Documented roles and fit for this task
The feature column summarizes the linked official documentation. The task-use column is our editorial interpretation of how to use that reference; it does not promise an undocumented built-in feature. Numbers indicate placement, not ratings.
| Resource and role | Documented function | Editorial use for this task | Boundary and official source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Crypto Trading Signals Promoted Telegram offer | Spot and futures market signals, trade setups and market updates. Telegram channel promoted by this page's publisher; editorial first placement | The separate worksheet on this site handles same-scope cash records, external transfers and already-included costs. The Telegram channel offers optional market ideas and context. | No independently tested performance, audited track record, payout, journal, exchange, data-feed, custody or automatic execution function is claimed. |
| 2. CoinTracking Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Custom crypto transaction CSV and manual records. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | Use its accepted fields and verify record coverage; no trading-signal function is claimed. |
| 3. Koinly Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Manual and CSV crypto transaction records. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | Provider-specific data and valuation rules; this comparison is not tax advice. |
| 4. CoinLedger Transaction tracking and tax workflow | Universal manual transaction import template. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | Its template differs from our local files; fees may already be included. |
| 5. CoinStats Portfolio transaction tracker | Manual portfolio and CSV transaction records. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | Recorded holdings do not imply automatic target rebalancing or custody. |
| 6. Delta by eToro Portfolio transaction tracker | CSV template with base, quote and fee currencies. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | The documented CSV does not support shorts or margin and uses provider-specific supported assets. |
| 7. CoinGecko Portfolio records and market reference | Portfolio and coin tracking records. | Compare ledger coverage with trade coverage and identify fees already included in imported P&L. | No unverified CSV export, account execution or target rebalancing feature is claimed. |
| 8. Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software | Own CSV tables and formulas with explicit import settings. | Keep each cash component in a labeled column and calculate recorded closing minus expected closing. | Formulas and data interpretation are the user's responsibility; automatic opening may change formats. |
| 9. Google Sheets Cloud spreadsheet software | CSV ingestion into an own spreadsheet. | Keep each cash component in a labeled column and calculate recorded closing minus expected closing. | Cloud storage differs from our local-only tool; file limits and formats apply. |
| 10. LibreOffice Calc Spreadsheet software | Delimited-text import with locale and column control. | Keep each cash component in a labeled column and calculate recorded closing minus expected closing. | Own workbook logic is not a ready-made verified trading calculator. |
Put the comparison to work
Use the same account scope, currency and period for every amount. Deposits and withdrawals are external flows. Select whether realized P&L is gross or already includes costs. If it is net, the costs field is not subtracted a second time.
Start with a hypothetical 1,000 USD, add 200 of deposits, subtract 50 of withdrawals, add 30 of gross realized P&L and subtract 5 of costs. Expected closing cash is 1,175 USD. A recorded 1,180 USD leaves a +5 USD difference to investigate. Using already-net P&L of 25 gives the same expectation.
Open Trading Account Cash Reconciliation Worksheet
A nonzero difference identifies a reconciliation gap; it does not determine its cause. Review omitted ledger movements, the period boundary and gross-versus-net amounts. This is cash reconciliation and does not automatically value open inventory or convert currencies.
